Information the app accesses

When you enable Android notification access, Keep Notifying Me reads notification titles, message text, source app identifiers and notification metadata available to it. Notifications may contain personal or sensitive information. Processing can continue while the app is closed. Android may hide some notification content. The app also checks currently active notifications when its listener reconnects.

The app uses this information to match your rules, group matching notifications, and remind you about pending items. Matching notification text, source app identifiers, capture times, rules, settings, reminder schedules and metadata used to avoid duplicate reminders are stored in private app storage on your device. Available launcher apps are listed so you can choose which apps a rule matches.

Network access and disclosure to others

The app does not request internet permission and does not upload notification content, rules or settings to the publisher. It has no advertising, analytics, remote crash-reporting service or app account system in this release.

Reminder notifications can contain saved message previews. These are provided to Android for display and may be visible to someone using your device or other services you authorize to access notifications. Android and your notification settings control lock-screen visibility. Opening a source app launches that app; Keep Notifying Me does not send it the saved notification text.

Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup of app data are disabled by this app's configuration. The app has no export or cloud-sync feature.

Retention and deletion

Pending message content remains until you mark the corresponding items Done, delete their rule, or reset app data. Dismissing a reminder, opening the source app or snoozing does not delete pending content. Rule text remains until edited, deleted or reset, even if it contains text copied from a message.

Metadata used to avoid duplicate reminders can remain after Done, including notification identities and hashes of previously seen content. Active-source records do not expire. Inactive-source records become eligible for cleanup after 30 days; cleanup occurs during later processing rather than at an exact deadline.

Use Setup → Show troubleshooting and details → Reset all data to clear reminder rules, pending items and deduplication records. Android's Clear storage or uninstall removes the app's local data, including local preferences. Deletion is logical app-data removal; the app does not promise forensic secure erasure of storage media.

You can revoke notification access in Android Settings to stop further access. Revoking access alone does not delete already saved items.

Support and changes

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use this information to respond to your inquiry, maintain customer inquiry history, investigate past and recurring incidents, and provide consistent follow-up support. Our email service provider processes this correspondence on our behalf. Please avoid sending sensitive notification content.

We do not apply a fixed automatic deletion period to support emails. We retain correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes. You can request deletion by emailing info@asssk.me. We will review and respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.
